Different
textures, finishes and colors all come together in a
seamless design. “Fennel” on the armoire
and one island brightens the wall cabinetry —
Cherry in Cocoa and Walnut in Fireside. The side-by-side
island approach doubles the prep and serve space. The
armoire offers visual, and practical, interest, with
abundant storage capability. |

Inspired by the
sun-kissed countryside and old-world charm of Provence,
this kitchen embodies the casual sophistication of this
celebrated province in the south of France. Plain &
Fancy combines great style and function through the
use of unfitted kitchen furniture and fitted cabinetry,
three types of wood and two custom finishes. Click on
each of the images below to see a larger view of that

This kitchen
is born in the USA — it's a spirited representation
of a melting pot of style, color, function and creativity
that makes this country, and this Calypso kitchen, so
special. Here, straightforward design yields new full-access
cabinetry behind an oh so savvy SoHo doorstyle in a
warm custom finish called Saffron. This kitchen marks
the spot where all things mix and meld for a space full
of cultural flavor and spirit. Conventional it's not.
Exciting it is! |

Our "Cottage"
kitchen speaks volumes of optimism. Stylistically, ghosted
quarter-sawn red oak built-in cabinets with Cranberry
enamel oak islands make for a complimentary combination.
Ample cookbook storage, a place for a laptop, extensive
limestone countertops and freestanding work islands
all come together in a kitchen that lacks "practically
nothing." Click on each of the images below to
see a larger view of that image. |

By using White Frost on cherry wood in an Heirloom finish
and introducing a painted cooking center in Latte, the
space was lightened and brightened in keeping with a
Greek Revival aesthetic. Other details that infuse European
architectural elements are: Egg and Dart mouldings;
Tapestry doors with an embossed "string of pearls"
inset panel; and, scrolled cornices. Click on each of
the images below to see a larger view of that image. |

This kitchen
offers the chance to get back to nature, without giving
up any creature comforts. Cherry and maple custom cabinetry,
stained in Nutmeg, sets the tone; this Camp kitchen
is ready for an intimate weekend away or for a fun-filled
holiday with family and friends. Have a casual dinner
for two at the peninsula island; or fire up the stone-encased
wood oven for a pizza party. You’ll feel miles
away from everyday, even if you’re not. |

The
au Natural kitchen, a simple space of natural lines,
welcomes you in quiet style. This kitchen shines with
light spaces and open-and-shut places: cubbies and cabinets
with Canterbury doors, all in Maple with a warm, soft
Caramel glaze; and pass-through, frosted glass upper
cabinetry above open space. Standing tall and blonde
across the way is a louvered armoire, also in Caramelized
Maple. Organic and inviting, this kitchen serves up
spare elegance, au Natural. |
|
This pine kitchen
is like a breath of fresh air, incorporating the fabulous
color, texture and inspiration of the outdoors. In lieu
of standard wall cabinetry and to salvage a light-bearing
window, pine cabinetry in fennel frost was "built-in"
to mimic a free standing china cabinet. The oversized
island, with a cooktop on one end, and room for six
on the other, is finished in a Bisque stain; the corner
wine bar sports a complimentary, lighter natural finish.
Entertaining a crowd has never been easier. |

With a bit of
every style that has stood the test of time, this truly
is a renaissance kitchen. Vintage beaded inset doors
in Maple line the walls, with narrow-paned windows on
either side of the dual fuel range. Carved corbels and
cornice, finished in Antique Distressed Chocolate Frost,
oversee a tumbled tile backsplash. |
|
Tradition
is on display everywhere here – in the lighted
cases, open shelves, suspended racks. Cabinetry in rich,
ruddy Cherry with details that draw you closer. From
crown moulding with rope carved inserts, to glass fronts
and fancy fretwork, to finely turned legs, it’s
a feast for the eyes. |

With full-overlay
Contempo and Shaker doors, this space has nearly seamless
continuity. Granite countertops are flush with the cabinetry,
while custom-stained deep Cherry wood contrasts perfectly
with stainless accents. |
|
Open corner
shelves and easy pass-throughs give a comfortably contemporary
slant to this smart space. Granite countertops lead
busy chefs in, while the hungry (and thirsty) visitors
can relax on the other side of the bar. |

Richly detailed
with columns and crown moulding, this majestic Maple
cabinetry has the look of an old family estate kitchen.
A treasured heirloom, finished in dinged-and-dented
Heirloom-Frosted Chocolate, of course. |
|
Create
your own little corner of Provence, a chateau for the
chef in you. Soft Maple cabinetry finished in a pale
yellow with Antique Distressing; a hand decorated tile
backsplash; a seat-and-eat island with prep sink; all
put together to create a country kitchen with a distinctly
French accent. |
|
|
|
Scalloped details,
crown moulding and full-overlay Tapestry doors in a
Latte finish make this small space comfortably European.
Soft Maple cabinetry complements the stove’s sloped
hood, tiled backsplash, and the gently mottled granite
counters. A butcher-block-topped island blends in nicely,
too. |
|
Paneled
Cloister doors and industrial waffle glass give a sleek,
Modern edge to this modest space. Long, smooth stainless
accents and dark granite countertops contrast with low-sheen,
Bisque finished, warm Maple cabinetry. |
